About Jackson Housing Authority (JHA)

Jackson Housing Authority (JHA) was organized and chartered in 1939 pursuant to the Housing Authorities Law of Tennessee. JHA is a public non-profit corporation which provides the low-rent public housing, Section 8, and Community Development programs as its primary activities.
